Is This What Orff Meant? |
This discussion paper will focus on the frequently asked question 'What is Orff?'. If this question were asked of recognised Orff practitioners across the globe, we may find that answers vary. I suggest that Orff can mean different things to different people. However, what common threads do we see as essential to this approach? This discussion will look at these threads through the viewing (DVD) of a children's performance from China. |

Look again and find our connections |

New Cognitive Challenges from Choral Music |
Choral music is an essential aspect of music teaching, from infancy to mature age.
