Marimba Hire
OSASA has four large marimbas and two sets of six mini marimbas that were made here in South Australia by a local woodworker. Instruments can be borrowed on a term by term basis by current OSASA Community members.
Pick up and return of hire instruments will no longer be from our workshops at Fullarton Park Centre unless prior arrangements are made and have been agreed. All hires will now be from Unley Primary School music room. Drop off and collection times will be negotiated to suit all parties. If you have any queries regarding this, please contact OSASA and our Marimba coordinator will be in touch to discuss.
Details of the hire periods are below.
Term 1 hire
Pick up instrument/s at an agreed time before Friday 21st February, 2025.
Return at an agreed time during week 4 of term 2 (19th – 23rd May 2025).
We will be in contact to arrange a suitable time.
Term 2 Hire
Pick up instrument/s at an agreed time during week 5 of term 2 (26th-30th May 2025).
Return at an agreed time during week 4 of term 3 (11th – 15th August 2025).
We will be in contact to arrange a suitable time.
Term 3 Hire
Pick up instrument/s at an agreed time during week 5 of term 3 (18th-22nd August 2025).
Return at an agreed time during week 4 of term 4 (3rd – 7th November 2025).
We will be in contact to arrange a suitable time.
Term 4 Hire
Contact us if you are wishing to hire in term 4 as special conditions may apply
A deposit of $150 is required prior to hire, however, $100 will be refunded once the instrument(s) is returned in good condition. The conditions of hire are listed in the online booking form (below) and must be agreed to by your School Principal.
